This statement covers penweir.com, requesting early access and buying a Penweir licence. It does not cover the Penweir software itself: Penweir runs inside your own network, and we never receive the data that flows through it.
Who we are
Penweir is offered from Amersfoort, the Netherlands. Questions about privacy: hello@penweir.com.
This website
- No cookies. The site sets no cookies and uses no tracking identifiers. Your browser keeps a session flag so the opening animation plays once per visit; it never leaves your device.
- No forms. Contact and early-access links open your own email program.
- Fonts are self-hosted. No request goes to Google or any other font service.
- Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect against abuse.
- Analytics. If enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not build visitor profiles. We see aggregate numbers such as page views and referrers.
Early access and email
When you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you tell us about your organisation and setup. We use it to reply, to keep you informed about Penweir and, once it is released, to send you an evaluation licence. We keep it until you ask us to delete it, or at most 24 months after our last contact.
Buying a licence
Payments are handled by Stripe on its own hosted checkout, or by invoice. Stripe receives your name, email address, company name, VAT number, billing address and payment details, and processes them under its own privacy policy. We receive the details needed to deliver your licence and to keep our accounts: your name, email, company, VAT number, what you bought and when.
We keep invoice records for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@penweir.com. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
